Lifetime achievement award honors Stottlemyer’s impact as a leader, mentor, and philanthropist, elevating the quality of life across the Greater Washington region

McLean, Va. – May 7, 2025 – Acentra Health, a technology and health solutions and services company dedicated to accelerating better outcomes for its government and commercial healthcare clients and the populations they serve, is pleased to announce its CEO Todd Stottlemyer has been named to the Washington Business Hall of Fame 2025 Laureate Class.

This achievement celebrates business leaders for their sustained excellence and visionary leadership that elevates the quality of life and inspires future leaders in Greater Washington. Stottlemyer stands among a prestigious group, with fewer than 200 individuals recognized since the award’s founding in 1988 by Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.

“Todd embodies the principles of servant leadership—he puts people first, listens deeply, and leads with humility and purpose,” said Donna Morea, Operating Executive, The Carlyle Group, and Chair, Acentra Health Board of Directors. “His example challenges all of us to lead in ways that uplift others and strengthen our communities. I’m thrilled to see him recognized with this well-deserved accomplishment.”

“I am grateful to Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, and I am humbled to be named among such a distinguished group of leaders, many of whom have inspired my own leadership journey,” said Stottlemyer. “Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to learn from outstanding mentors who gave me candid feedback and modeled service to others. I am also grateful to all the individuals I have been able to call teammates and colleagues along the way.”

Stottlemyer is widely recognized for his civic leadership and community engagement. He serves on multiple boards, including GO (Growth and Opportunity) Virginia, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Stottlemyer is also a longtime member of the Virginia Business Higher Education Council (VBHEC), working to increase public investment in education and expand internship and workforce development opportunities.

Stottlemyer has spent over four decades rooted in Northern Virginia, driving economic growth and innovation across Greater Washington. He joined Acentra Health as CEO in 2018 and has overseen multiple acquisitions that have expanded the company’s capabilities and more than doubled its global workforce. Prior to Acentra Health, Stottlemyer served in multiple executive roles at the Inova Health System, including as CEO of the Inova Center for Personalized Health, and previously led two other technology companies as CEO.

The 2025 Laureate Class will be formally inducted into the Washington Business Hall of Fame at a gala event on November 18, 2025. Proceeds from the event will benefit Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
