Executive Vice President & General Manager, Integrated Health Solutions

Susan Baker is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Acentra Health’s Integrated Health Solutions sector. She is responsible for all Acentra Health clinical programs, including care management, utilization management, appeals, independent medical review, quality oversight, and employee assistance programs. She also oversees Acentra Health’s federal programs.

Susan has extensive experience navigating state and federal healthcare policies for Medicaid and Medicare. The programs in her portfolio enhance clinical outcomes and boost engagement while meeting strict regulatory requirements. Susan is valued for her collaborative, decisive leadership and her talent for delivering measurable results in mission-driven environments. 

Before joining Acentra Health, Susan held senior roles in operations and program management, where she led client implementations, quality improvement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Her leadership has played a key role in optimizing clinical workflows, reducing administrative burden, and increasing value for clients and those they serve.

Susan holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. She is deeply committed to advancing access to high-quality health services, ensuring that individuals receive the right care at the right time in the right setting.
